Is there any way to permanently disable "Connect to Virgin TV" on the Virgin TV GO app? My grandad watches on an iPad but is struggling to understand that he keeps changing the channel on our tv from his home some miles away. There's no obvious method even in a separate profile.

If the device is being used as a remote, tap the Connect to TV icon at the top right of the TV Go screen to disconnect from the box.
Let us know if he's able to do this/ if there are still issues.

Is there anyway to carry this out permanently as every time he goes into the app it changes both the profile and channel on our tv? Ideally I'd like to stop that specific device from being used as a remote as it seems to be defaulting to connected to the Virgin box.

Upon testing it doesn't connect automatically from here, can you try removing the device, then re- adding it to see if this makes any difference?
You can also try accessing TV GO via the browser on the iPad instead of the app.
