Slow erratic 1gb lately

I'm on 1gb connection connected with the Hub 5 in modem mode going to my Asus BQ16 WiFi 7 Router, I have always had consistent 1gb speeds but this last week or so it's all over the place, Anything from 300mbit to 950mbit, I can't get my full speed anymore very rarely.

Anyone in the Manchester area notice anything similar lately before I start disconnecting my 3rd party router and doing my own diagnostics?

Thought I'd ask here first like why there are so many critical events in the Hub 5 log and what ideal signal levels should be or what I should be looking out for.

Thanks in advance.

Just to update here are few details from the Hub 5 signal levels, Upstream, Downstream and why is there a ton of post RS Errors? Is this normal?

  • The upstream power levels are too high, and a large number of 'Post RS Errors' on the downstream.

    Have you checked:

      Hi,

Yes I checked the status and there are no reported issues in my area.

No more help required regarding this, My contract is up next month and after many years with Virgin Media I have decided to switch providers for my broadband, Renewal offer was nowhere near what I expected and the offer from Brsk was too good not to take up.
