Package Upgrade Issues
Hi,
I’ve been on the Volt Gig1 package since January 2024, including the Symmetrical Speed add-on. In July, my contract ended and my price doubled, so after speaking with Virgin Media retentions, I accepted a new 2GB contract.
I’m now facing two issues:
- Speed Upgrade Incomplete: The new package was supposed to go live on the 13th/14th. I’ve noticed that my upload speed has changed to 200Mbps (down from 1GB), but my download speed remains unchanged. I contacted support and was told a level 2 support ticket was raised, but I haven’t received any updates.
- Symmetrical Speed Add-on Missing: During the upgrade, the team was unable to re-add the Symmetrical Speed add-on due to a system error. I was advised to contact support again once the new package was active. I did so, but was told that issue #1 needs to be resolved first.
Could someone please assist in resolving these issues?
