Like others Slow Speed, Minimum speeds, hardly ever maximum or somewhere in between. Volt Gig1 connection

Hi,

See speed test results below taken from my Asus router (RT-AX88U) which is connected to a Superhub 4, the Superhub is in modem mode, the cable in between Superhub & the Asus router is shielded (0.5m in length), I've also tried a "Cat 8" but the speed tests are no different.  These are the results from the speed test that my Asus router has done.  So there are no other devices besides me telling my Asus router to conduct a speed test.  There is no other device downloading/updating etc... at the time of the tests.

Here is a snip from my contact.

Why am I just about getting minimum download speeds...  I have powered down the Superhub a few times hoping it would be just a connection issue.  But this seems to be terminal.

Just to add, some of the more recent speed tests have been done using the Virgin media servers, based in London.  Doing a speed test via the Virgin media website doesn't yield any improvements, if anything sometimes I can just about get 422Mbps download speeds, at off-peak times.

What do you get by cable to the hub with it is in router mode? If it's the same please share your hub stats here. If it shows the right speeds then ensure that the Asus firmware is up to date and QOS is disabled.

Trying to get my superhub4 into router mode would mean I have to disconnect the power for a while, as the IP address login for my superhub just times out, and it has done so for a long while.

The Asus router is at the latest firmware available, it self-updates, and I checked against the Asus website last night. "Firmware Version:3.0.0.4.388_24232".

Switching off the adaptive QOS setup which was biased for gaming and WFH, has improved the speed.  See speeds from 9:50.

No longer minimum speeds, I guess I'm at the limitations of the 1Gbps ports on the Superhub 4 now.  Let's see how my gaming fairs over the next few days, let's hope the Port Forwarding holds out :-\  Thank you.

Check the conf settings on the Hub.  It will show what speed has been provisioned.
It's Configuration tab - Primary Downstream Service Flow - Max Traffic Rate.

Also as noted above, set the Hub in Router mode and do a wired speed test at www.samknows.com/realspeed

Run the FULL tests and post the results please.   VM will insist on the Hub being set in Router mode before they will do any diagnostics.
