Try checking with Area faults on 0800 561 0061 or if you have a VM landline 150 as small local faults are not listed on the VM status page.

Post the power levels, Pre and PostRS errors and network log from the Hub. Also setup a BQM to monitor your circuit www.thinkbroadband.com/ping

Once done we can comment.   However there is something amiss, as SamKnows is only reporting 274Mb to the Hub.

Don’t forget VM ‘guaranteed’ speeds are for Ethernet cable connected devices.

The speed to the HUB is only 274Mbps, so not related to Wi-Fi.

Your phone is slow or the hub wifi is the problem which you can fix by getting your own router with 1Gb ports and use hub in modem mode

  • Hey Pendlebean, thank you for reaching out and a warm welcome to the community I am so sorry to hear this.

Can you confirm if this is on a WIFI or a cable connection or even both for us?

The speeds you get at home will, of course, depend on a variety of factors, it depends on your package, what and how many devices you have, how they are connected amongst other things.
We do have a download speed guarantee though - this will show the minimum speed we would expect for all our packages - you can take a look at that here:

    Please keep us updated.
