3mbps download on 1gbps fibre

Question

Hi there.&nbsp;Since yesterday (26th of November) I'm having virtually no speed at all. All was fine after my night shift in the morning, got full 1140mbps both ways (I pay extra for symmetrical) yet by midday both speeds dropped to around 10mbps and gradually lowered to the point where at the point of me writing it I'm at around 3mbps. No hardware changes anywhere, I've rebooted the gear multiple times yet its still the same. So I wonder if its any works being carried out in ST14 7PD area. To me it looks like broken provisioning on VM side. I though I ask here first as I'm absolutely dreading contacting CS after the last fiasco. I don't need someone reading a script to me and falling back to an engineer as always.&nbsp;Thanks!

This is such a bad reply I'm actually wondering if you're having a joke! I'm talking about line provisioning and you think I haven't checked in that useless app? I did first thing and as always "no issues in your area".&nbsp;

The "app" isn't useless, the function checks for known problems in your area and also provides an opportunity to a run a test on your equipment from there.&nbsp; Depending upon the result it can sometimes also book a tech appointment.&nbsp;The best check though is to call the automated Service Status number&nbsp; 0800 561 0061.&nbsp; This is generally&nbsp; better&nbsp; as it gives details of more local issues down to postcode level.You should also run a speed test using&nbsp;https://samknows.com/realspeed/&nbsp;This shows the speed to the hub as well as to your device&nbsp; so it may help indicate if the issues are internal or external.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Run the full test so it includes&nbsp;Latency, Jitter, Packet loss &amp; Upload speedWhat colour are the lights on your hub?Looking at your postcode you might be on a full fibre connection (you'll have the hub 5x if you are) and if so it's possible that there is &nbsp;dirt on the fibre, in which case &lt;this post&gt;&nbsp; may be helpful
