Wrong power cable for Hub 3

I recently ordered and today received a QuickStart kit with the Hub 3 wifi router, but the wrong power cable has come with it. The power cable fits a 'figure of 8' socket, but the socket on the Hub 3 is a circle. Pictures attached below. How can I be sent the correct cable? Or an adapter?

The VM hub power connector type is always a 12V DC barrel plug which connects to an adapter - and it's this adapter you connect to the "figure-of-eight" (IEC C7) power cable. Are you saying you are missing the barrel plug and/or adapter?

Thanks for your reply. Yes, I believe the adapter and/or barrel plug is missing from the package.

I've tried speaking with VM via their chatbot and call centre, but 'missing parts' isn't listed as an option for either of these

mah207 Check all the packaging carefully as the adapter may be 'hidden' in one of the folded cardboard sections.

  • The mains cable with a figure of 8 goes into a power block which is 120x80x30 mm and the output from that has the correct plug to go into the router body.

You seem to be omitting the bit in the middle!

As a matter of interest, who supplied the hub 3? It's on the label.
