Wrong Cable for router

I was trying to install my Hub 5, but then Ive noticed that the cable coming from the wall appears to be a male connection, and the wire given to me in the box is also a male adapter. What should I do? Both sides of the cable provided are a male connection

Isn't that a phone socket with a coaxial cable coming out from underneath it? I suggest getting a tech in to remove it and put in a suitable socket.

Why is it so hard for VM to standardize this stuff.

You have an adapter already screwed into the bit of cable coming out of the wall by the look of it.

Unscrew that adapter and replace it with this one (also available from the likes of Toolstation, Screwfix etc.)

    https://www.diy.com/departments/slx-coaxial-connector-19mm/5028422001905_BQ.prd

then push fit the other cable, in your hand in the pic, onto the end of the new adapter.

If you want a proper wall box fitting, call the pre-installation and delivery team on 0800 052 1734 explain the problem and request a tech visit to install a socket.
