Hi VM have been and connected the boxes up in our road just wondering if anyone knows when it will be live ,we're in walmer NR deal and internet is virtually no existent post code ct14 7 ug

I think yours is Nexfibre, full fibre. I doubt you will get an answer from VM. Normally you get leaflet or sales person knocking when near to live/gone live.

You are part of the NexFibre full fibre expansion programme. These areas do not get traditional cable services, so it will just be Fibre Broadband with the option of IPTV services (Stream now called Flex). There are no landline phone or broadcast TV (360) options on this type of network.
It says virgin media on the pavement connection outside my property , are u assuming nexfibre, or fact

Oddly, despite Dover and surrounding villages being coax HFC, they are also on list for Nexfibre this year.

As is common with legacy cable builds, some of them are far from complete due to the original franchise holder either going bust or just abandoning further expansion due to expense. Torbay is a good example, where Torquay & Paignton are now 50% legacy HFC & 50% new RFoG thanks to Project Lightning expansion.
