Since 2006 we've had VM Fibre already installed in our home, however with great concern there is no casing surrenting the fibre cable
many years ago, I asked Vm to get an engineer to replace this, we never heard back after this request
What is your concern about the conduit? Your connection is most likely to be coax cable rather than fibre.
The external coax is designed to be direct buried in the ground. The only thing the green plastic conduit really does in VM installations is to alert anyone nearby that the cable is present. It doesn't really offer much by way of protection.
I’ve had no conduit on my VM cable for years. It just buried below the grass.
