Recently, when I want to configure my hub 3.0 for port forwarding etc, I get this when I try to log in. No one is logged in, I even made sure to log out of my last session, but it still does this:"Please Note!Someone else is currently logged into the settings page. Only one session at a time is allowed. Please try again later."I've had to reboot my hub 3.0 with the pin button to fix this, only for it to come back when I try to log in the second time, unplugging the hub 3.0 from power doesn't make a difference (I had it disconnected for 10/15 minutes and it still didn't work afterwards).

This is absolutely a bug in the firmware on Virgin's Hub, but you can bypass it, because the logic is occurring client side.In Chrome you can modify the source file by bringing up "Inspect", going to the "Source" tab and navigating to the file "base.js". Open this file and Ctrl+F for:if ( isMultiLogin(loggedInVal, id) ){Change the line to:if ( false !== false ) {Ctrl+S to save the file locally (If you refresh the page it will go back to the original version of the file)This will bypass their stupid logic and let you sign in.

This is a major pain in the butt. Both the connect app and the router via Chrome say the same thing. Even using MS Edge says the same thing.Someone else is currently logged into the settings page. Melissa - The problem should be addressed in the forum. Do not use the old customer services trick of divide and conqueror. No one will be private messaging you until you give us a plan. The plans main detail must indicate what will happen when the router is replaced with a new one and the problem still occurs. If it is a firmware problem, which we all 'know' it is. Do not delay the action with the second customer services trick of getting customers to aim for more and more time intensive 'possible fixes' hoping most will drop away. Your engineers know there is a problem/s with the firmware and the router. Be honest, let us know what they are and an approx time frame of when they will be fixed, please.

I bet it is a lot quicker than a factory reset !!

Makes no difference if you are using an app or the web gui as I have never used the app. Now getting this often. Sure a power cycle restores it but come on, this should be sorted by now.

Provided I manage the Hub 3 via a network cable,
I don't encounter the orphaned management session issue.

Using Wi-Fi, expect to be locked out the moment you make
a config change ... so do not do this.

  with ??? Do give more details. I think from memory, users are not logging out correctly and/or using Wifi to manage to console, leading to disconnects. Use a wired connection only.

Wth, what the hell. I use wired, and it shouldn't matter if I "log out correctly". If you close the tab, the modem should know, like all other modems I have had in the past.

  In this case it seems you need to log out properly. This has been the case over the 6 years this thread has been running.
