Slow upload speed

Hi all,

Hoping someone from Virgin is on here and can help.

My download speeds are fine but my upload should be around 100Mb but getting around 15 to 20Mb.

I had an engineer visit last week, he replaced the Hub and the connections at the front of my house but this didn't resolve the issue, he then popped across the road to the main box and said there is an issue with the fibre going to my property and he would arrange for someone to come out and replace it.

Yesterday I had two engineers attend who barely spoke English and couldn't understand what needed to be done, after they checked the box across the road a few times they just got in their van and drove off without saying anything and leaving me with the issue still.

The original engineer from last week said he could remotely see issues with the connection on his way to my house.

Can someone assist please?

    Run a speed test using :

    https://www.samknows.com/realspeed/

    Once the test begins click on: Run full test to include:
    Latency, Jitter, Packet loss & Upload speed

    Post the results of the Full Test so we can see  the Up / Down speeds at the VM Hub.

    Yes, mine has been shocking for 2 days in a row now. Usually have just below 100 and currently getting between 10 to 25. Really effecting my work. 

    I just don't know what to do - phone calls to support do nothing but reboot the router and say it will be monitored.

      Mine has been like this for a couple of months and also makes it a nightmare working from home full time.

    Yes, me too. It normally drops for a few minutes at a time (up to 3 or 4 times a day) whilst i'm uploading data and then stabilises for a few hours which although not ideal, I can deal with but this week it's just constantly low.
