Request for new cable install - Brown box to inside wall

I have to remove the outside cables which are coming into my house from the brown box, since I am insulating the walls and don't want a big hole drilled through it for the cable. Can I have a new cable installed so that it comes through the wall below the floor level, instead of through my insulation? 

There is access internally as the floors are taken up, so that is not an issue.

    May be tricky to relocate the omnibox - depends on where the cables to it come from.   VM will move the cables from it to inside where you want it putting and can drill in below floor level - if its easily accessible from outside - and fitting a new wall box should be no issue as the floors are up.  Charge will be £25

    There's some guidance on the Openreach website regarding passive house construction techniques, and they say they're working on something but basically the way to get the cable in without drilling through an insulated wall is to run conduit down the wall, through an uninsulated part below the internal floor level, and back up again to wherever you want the outlet. I would use 25mm conduit and a maximum of two swept bends on the route, then call VM and pay the £25 charge to redo the cable, and have them push it through this conduit. Then you're sorted for any future change to fibre as well.

    Obviously VM isn't Openreach, but the principles are the same.

    Thanks, I will see if there's some suitable conduit that I can fit in advance! I dont have a wall to get the wall box onto (it'll be built later), I'm hoping they'll just connect the to new box inside and let me leave it 'loose' until I build the wall.

      Regarding the relocation of the Omnibox, the team may be able to arrange something considering the cirumstances.
      However, the team will not be able to pull the cable and then come at a later date to fit the Omnibox as this would all be done in one and are not permitted to leave cables hanging which are connected from the network.

        Hi, 
        I don't need to relocate the box, it can stay where it is, I just need a new cable from the box into the house via a new hole which I will make lower in the wall. I plan to use some PVC conduit to make it easier.
        When I say 'loose' I mean the white internal wall fitting is not currently fitted to a wall, so it would be good if the new cable can just be connected to the fitting and then I will attach it to the wall when I can.
        Will that be ok?
