Replacement hub4 doesn't connect

I was told that I needed to replace my hub (2) with a new hub and was duly sent a hub 4.

I swapped them over and the hub won't connect to the internet.

I can connect to the hub admin pages but no internet is available.

Can anyone advise me what to do?

(Connections are tight, swapping back to hub 2 works fine)

Is this meant to be done automagically or do you need to call up to activate it?

Maybe you was too fast in swapping it over for the system to go over with the new hub?

The instructions basically say swap the coax and plug in the power and it 'connects to our fibre network.'

        Hello slimtimh2.

Thanks for your first post and welcome to our community.
Sorry to hear you are having an issue with your replacement Hub.
I'd like to investigate this for you if you're still having issues.
If you don't mind, I will need to send you a private message to pass security.
If you can check your logo at the top right of your screen that would be great.

If the SH2 is working then the activation of the new Hub has not yet happened.

The hub arrived last Tuesday evening.

The instructions said it might take half an hour to 'settle down' after connection. I left it for 8 hours whilst out at work on Thursday and still no internet.

I'm only bothered because the box says 'plug me in and activate within 5 days (or you will lose service)' - that wouldn't be good.

Maybe someone needs to press a button on there side?
