After reading quite a few horror stories and hoping to avoid the cancel/retention saga in Feb when my contract ends, I thought I'd try the online package deal page.
To my surprise there was a 1Gig upgrade on offer for £28.77. I'm on 350 for £25.02 currently so I've taken them up on that.
Seems fair enough to me and I know it'll go up with the yearly rises but the less hassle I have, the better.
That's fair enough, if you really need the higher speed. Most people don't use it most of the time, so VM would love to get everyone onto 1gig.
Great price. Do you have FTTP competitors available in your area by any chance?
Cue the fun and games. I wonder if you will be back on here in a week saying it's not applied and when you ring in, they try and upsell a more expensive price?
