Puma chipset issues still around?

Hi folks,

Virgin are insisting I finally upgrade from my Super Hub 2ac. I've been resistant in the past because of the Puma chipset latency spikes. My understanding is that the Hub 4 had the same chipset as the Hub 3, but the Hub 5 has a new one - is that right? Should I be free of problems as long as I get Hub 5?
