I received my self install kit yesterday only to find the VM wall socket (about 10 years old I think) does not match the new cable provided. Is there an easy to find adapter I can use? The existing one seems to be slightly smaller in diameter
VM uses coaxial cable on most of its network. The old way of connecting the cables was to screw the connector onto the threaded connector. The new connectors are push-fit. It may be a tight fit to connect them.
Post up a photo of what you are trying to connect to. Someone on here will hopefully give you further info on how to connect.
VM outlets use similar type of connectors as are used with satellite dishes & rooftop antennas, so don’t get it confused with these.
