No wall socket - what's the best way to get an engineer visit arranged?

Hi,

I've just moved into a new property and we need to get the internet going sharpish because my partner works from home. We arranged for the Hub to be delivered before we moved so we wouldn't have any down time, but the self install requires a socket that we don't have.

I have two standard telephone connects, one marked NTL and one BT, but there are no round sockets or loose cables anywhere. Trust me, I've scoured the place.

Check the outside, if you have an NTL branded phone socket, there should be a Omnibox on the outside wall.  From there trace the wires to the inside.  It may have been cut by the previous tenants?  If there is no outside box, it may take longer to get an installation working.

There is no outside box. I've got an engineer visiting this weekend. Cheers for the suggestions πŸ‘
