No speed boost with Volt upgrade

Can someone explain what I need to do to get my Volt download speed boost please? My Volt benefit is active now and I can see that my package has changed from M125 to M250 on my account and when I do a speed test, I can see that it says M250 in the bottom left corner but the download speed is still about 130. I was told by customer services that once the benefit was active the speed beast would happen pretty soon after is there something else I need to do or can anyone help?

  • Thanks David, the hub has been rebooted multiple times since our volt was applied and we have run speed tests from multiple devices over wifi within a 1m proximity of the hub. The speed as not changed at all, it’s always around 130mbps.

    Sorry to hear that the speed tests being recorded don't appear to reflect what you're subscribed to.

    Can you please confirm if you're running speed tests via an Ethernet cable or over Wi-Fi?

    With this, do please also confirm if you've been able to do any type of reboots on the hub since the confirmation of the speed increase has been received.

  • The same thing is happening to me. I can see the Volt benefit is applied on my account and it now says M250 instead of M125 but the download speed has not changed - still around 130mbps. What do I need to do to get the speed boost?
