New Property - Multiple Connection Points

I have just moved into a new property and there is the standard broadband connection and then other connections on different walls that look like they went into tvs. I would like these additional connections removed so I can build furniture on these walls. How do I check that these connections can be removed and who should remove them?

Anyone had a similar situation?

Thank you

Is it rented? If so speak to the landlord.

  • Hello LaurenAJK,

Welcome to the Community, and thanks for taking the time to post here on the forums.  Would you be able to share pictures of the connections that you're referring to?

We can advise what you can do next to remove them or get them removed.

    Kind Regards,

Don't think that is a VM connection. It looks like a DIY connection for an HDMI cable to where a wall-mounted TV was once placed.

Someone just happens to have placed what looks like a VM reminder sticker for the wi-fi credentials on top of the faceplate.

VM's sockets usually have the VM logo (or that of a predecessor such as NTL or Telewest) with or without the word "Virgin".
