Netflix activation email

I have standard Netflix included in my plan. This was in use up until I moved house, to which I received an email to inform me the Netflix account had been put on hold as virgin media had suspended the payments.
When I moved house there was a break in the contract whilst we waited for virgin to install everything at our new address, I was told this is why because there was a break in the contract. I rung virgin media customer services to reinstate the Netflix when we were all set up in our new address and I was told I would have to wait for an activation email. I have since been waiting since March, I have rung several times to be told the same thing everytime “you will receive an activation email for Netflix within 3-5 working days” it’s been 2 months now and still nothing. Unfortunately I can’t set it up through the set top box either, as it no longer gives this option, it tells you to set it up through you mobile so there’s no option for virgin media as payment.
Also there’s no Netflix banner on the “my virgin media” app or online, I’ve tried that too. I need an email activation, there is no other way to do it. 
I’ve had to cancel my Netflix membership as I refuse to pay for something that I already pay for as part of my plan with virgin media.

Can you please advise on next steps moving forward as you can imagine, I’m starting to get a bit fed up of waiting now. Thank you.
