Need new connector installed

Just switched to virgin media, we have the infrastructure (just about!) And are online but the cables outside are a mess and one of our wall sockets doesn't work because its not connected to the splitter outside the property. Looks like is has been disconnected and capped off on the splitter, but the loose cable is just hanging there and the connector has gone rusty. 

Ideally we would like this connector replaced and connected to the splitter so we can use that wall socket (better place for our router to go) 

 

Also I think we could do with a new wall socket as the one we have has this isolator loose behind the cover so had to take cover off to connect properly and it looks very old (says NTL on the cover) broadband speeds are okay its just a not very functional wall socket

    Thanks for reaching out to us and welcome to the Community Forums, thanks for the images that you have posted. The set up does appear to be correct, if you are in receipt of service there would not be a need to replace the components themselves. The Omnibox itself outside the home, is there a complete cover or has this since been damaged or not there. Could you please show us an image of the Omnibox at a greater distance via private message.
