moving the router

hi , first time posting, I want to move the router but not the devices connected to it via the ports at the back. is this possible, if so any suggestions welcome. thanks

      thanks for replying, I currently have cctv, hive heating, and tivo box plus one more thing I'm not sure what it is.

    Three options:

    1) move hub and any devices connected to by Ethernet cable.

    2) move hub and extend Ethernet cables

    3) buy a retail router and place where hub currently located and connect to hub’s new position via a single Ethernet cable.

    We can give more advise if you let us know the reason for the need to move hub.

      thanks for replying, I want to move it as the hub installed by virgin media engineer is laying on its side (due to lack of space in the cabinet it is unable to place it standing up) and very close to other electrical equipment , thus not getting the full benefits of the Internet .
