Moving incoming cable

I have done building work planned and the incoming cable is under the proposed work. What can be done to move it so it is not affected by the build. Thanks.

    VM charges £25 for non-fault technician call-outs.

What needs to be done will be highly dependent on the specifics for your particular site and building plans.

You may be able to relocate cables in a temporary way during the build and then reinstate them permanently once the build is complete. Alternatively you may be able to do one permanent move at the start of the project but details of each option will depend on what you are planning to do and how the cable is affected by the works.

A VM person should reply to your topic within a few days to discuss/arrange with you.

        Hi millster,

Thanks for taking the time to contact us via the Community. It's lovely having you on board with us in the Forums. ⭐

If you're an existing account holder then we can arrange a visit to move the cable for you. As mentioned above, there is a charge of £25 for this which would be added to your account.

In order to do that I'll need to confirm some information with you to pass security so I've sent you a direct message to allow us to do this with you in a private space. Just click on the little ✉ at the top right-hand side of the page to access your inbox. :)

        Many thanks,
