Moving house - installation

So, i've just moved to a new house and ive moved thru the app the broadband to my new adress but virgin media sent me a kit...but how do i connect to internet if i have no connection on outside of the house do i need to book an tehcnician to come and install it for me or dose it comes on the date i wanted to activate my internet?? Can anyone help...ok the router and cables from my previous adress i got them but why do they send me a new kit??

    Welcome to the Community and thanks for taking the time to post here on the forums. I’m sorry to hear of the issues that you’re having with your account after moving. 

    If you have no connections or boxes in or outside your home they may have been removed by the previous owner/occupant, so an engineer would need to be sent out to complete your install. I'd be happy to take a further look into this for you however I would need to confirm a few details via private message, please look out for my message and we can get started.
