Moving home, no service

Recently called to advise I was moving home. Was advised over the phone that Virgin Media doesn’t serve my area. 

Did a quick search on Virgin Media website and found they serve number 2 on my street, I'm number 10. Is this a mistake and is there any way I can look into this? 

I’ve also spoke to someone who lives in the same vacinity and they have 1GB service from Virgin. 

I’d love to stay with Virgin.

      Hi, Matthew 

       

      So, 1 and 2 Old Course Gate are listed as serviceable, I’m [REMOVED], so just a few doors down. 

      I have an engineer visiting on Monday to see if they can connect the new place. I called back and spoke to another agent who arranged it. 

      I’m hoping it all works out and it’s just an issue with the property not being listed.

  • So, met the engineer today, it showed on his pad that there is a line going into the property, these are usually accessible from the street but he couldn't see it immediately and it might be buried over. 

    Engineer advised he needed to speak to his manager about it and would give me a call back to advise. 

    Never received a call. Is there any way to see what the engineer reported when closing the job? Or request a call back from the engineer to discuss?
