Installation Date keeps Pushing back.

I have had my install date pushed back three times now. Finally on Saturday 23rd August some Engineer's arived to carry out the work and I was made aware of this.

However, after about an hour of doing some work (not sure what) they knocked my door to tell me that the service doesn't run to my property and other work needs to happen. All the houses in my road have the black virgin media plates at the end of the gardens/drives (including mine) and my next door neighbour has virgin!!!

I now have no visibility of what happens next as I can't get any details on dates on the app. Can anybody help please???

    Call the Pre-installation and delivery team on  0800 052 1734 open  8:00am to 9:00pm  Mon to Fri, and 8:00am to 6:00pm Sat and Sun.  and see if they can help.

  • Thank you. I have called them. Apparently I will know more in the next 48 hours once someone has been to have a look. We will see!!!

  • Update on this. I was promised someone would be out on Tuesday for an update. This then changed to Wednesday. Still nothing. I have rang again ans been told today (Friday). Think I know how this is going. It's an absolute shambles!!!!

      Don't forget you should be due compensation for failed installs.

  • Update. I raised a complaint last Thursday. John from the Forum team also reached out, thank you John.

    I have just received an email stating "

    We’re sorry to let you know that unfortunately we’ve had to cancel your order as we’re unable to bring Virgin Media services to your home"

    Guess they could tell me that months ago? People in my road have it including my next door neighbour who's cable runs up the side of my drive.

    More than disappointed!!!
