I got a new hub yesterday

I got a new hub delivered yesterday. I was told it just needed plugged in and it would be ready to go. It’s been flashing green all night so I called virgin media to help. Put on and off hold. I would just like an engineer to come out and look at it. But the man on the phone is just asking me to reset it, turn it off and on. There is no option to book an engineer on the app or on the phone! Everything is automated. Is there a separate number I can call to book an engineer?

    Plug the old hub in.

    If that's still working it means that the new hub hasn't been activated yet.  Then either wait until that stops working and plug in the new one, or  plug the new one in again and then call 0800 953 9500 which is the activation line and have the new hub serial number (should be on a sticker on the base) along with your account number and area number which can be found on your bills and contract handy.

     

  • Thank you for responding. I got an engineer out and he sorted it I wasn’t with Virgin Media before. I was with BT.
