I feel I've been Mis-sold my broadband

I am moving house on 7th Feb, having contacted several providers I went with virgin media as they gave the earliest technical delivery.  So.i cancelled everything I currently have only to receive an email saying that they could not honour the original installation and it would be another 10 days later.  That's unacceptable and I cannot be without broadband for that length of time.  The customer support was hopeless and bounced me and finally cut me off.    Absolutely awful experience

    Issues with delayed VM installations are very common topics of complaint on here, unfortunately. Read some examples on this forum and you will get and idea of VM's pattern of behaviour when delays crop up. Your new +10 days date might not be that reliable either.

    Brush up on the compensation scheme and keep detailed notes of everything as you go along to make sure you are paid what is due to you.
