Hub 5 x flashing red light

Came home to my broadband not working.  Red light flashing.   Reset the system  with reset button and internet comes back on for around 20 seconds (white light ) then flips back to red again.  Rang virgin ; escalated to tech team and now have to wait for a call back by end of day.  Work form home / no TV (sky glass ) and poor mobile signal area !!! All connections to router are undisturbed.   Any help ?

    Check with Area faults on 0800 561 0061 If you have a VM landline 150 this goes down to post code level. You could also try the web page status, but this is not recommended as it only covers issues that affect a very large number of customers.
