History and parental controls?

Just recently got virgin set up and noticed that on specifically opera it will block certain sites, but works fine on safari. Does virgin alert parents though of the attempt and what part of the search history would it store? Like the site in general or what exact part I access?

    Dunno if its relevant but Opera does have an "inbuilt"  (pseudo)VPN see settings - below.

    Are the blocked websites on overseas servers ?

    Opera VPN will usually regain access to the websites that UK ISPs are legally obliged to block.
    If operable it could also be a way to bypass parental controls.
