Haven't received confirmation email

Ordered a broadband package on Friday 01/09 to be delivered on 09/09 and received the order summary email and pre-contract documents, however the delivery date confirmation and contract have not been received. Upon trying to log into Virgin Media to confirm that the delivery is still taking place it asks for an account number and area reference, neither of which I have.

      Hi there,

      I have the exact same issue. Ordered a broadband package on Tues 21/11 to be delivered on Fri 24/11 (today) and received the order summary email and pre-contract documents but no confirmation of delivery or account number. Can you help please?

      Hi,

      I also have this issue. Ordered on 12-12 and should have been delivered 15-12 but I didn’t receive any confirmation. Still not received anything other than contract information.

      Hi there,

      I have this issue too I'm afraid. I ordered my virgin media package on 6th May 2024 to be installed on 27th May (today) but I still haven't received my contract or my installation date confirmation. Please can you help?

  • Hi,

    I also have this issue. Ordered broadband on the 24/03 and put today 6/4 as the install date, got the pre contract documents and order summary but never got a confirmation email. I don't have an account number either. Could someone help please?

  • Hi,

    I have the same issue, I ordered gig1 internet on the 5/4/2024 for a delivery date of 13/04/2024 (today) and have not received any updates regarding delivery. I have only received the pre contract details.

    Virginmedia connections require their own cable from the street, which might be on the ground or overhead. 

    If the cable is already installed from a previous customer, you will be supplied with a self-installation pack to connect up.

    If the cable is not already installed, VM will arrange for a subcontractor to install the cable and this may take days, weeks or months. The date you are given is a notional one to get you signed up.

    If you have an existing broadband service, you are advised not to cancel it until the new service is working satisfactorily. 

  • Hi,

    I signed up the other day (22/05) and got my pre contract document however, I never received a confirmation email. I would like to know when the box will arrive, receive updates via my email address and be able to log into my virgin media account to pay or view the bills. I cannot to this without a confirmation email.

        I'm also having this issue. I had hoped to get the email confirming delivery date as the original one given (19th June) wouldn't work as we are moving into the house after this date. However I need WiFi set up on the first day as i have a remote job

    If the delivery is just of a modem to connect to an existing VM installation then you may be lucky. But if it requires a new VM cable from the street then you must be prepared for disappointment.
