Frequent Drops in Connection

This thread is marked as solved - but there is no visible solution ( that I can see ) - 

did the visit from the engineer help ? 
what did they do ?

Been having this WIFI dropout problem- for years - as are a neighbour here, and a friend who lives other side of the city, and also a VM customer.

Wired equipment works fine, but WiFi connected gear drops out frequently. IPhones, Android, it doesn’t matter, they all drop out regularly. A nuisance, and particularly on WiFi connected security devices.

    yes, this problem is still ongoing… 

    Reading around the subject seems to indicate that the Hub 3 is a common feature in complaints. 
    There was a mention of a Hub 4 upgrade… two years ago, I think. So, what is the current Hub version?

    To answer your questions : 

    the problem is not on the wired-in TV, 

    but on everything connected to WiFi. 
    The drop-outs happen sporadically.

    Some items reconnect automatically.

    Some need just a refresh/reload.

    On the iPhone, just turn off WiFi, run on a cellular for a few minutes, then reconnect WiFi, and it’s fine for another.. roughly 30 minutes. 
    Currently on iPhone 14Pro, problem also there on previous 13Pro, and also iPhone 8. 

    My security camera monitor, which is displaying on a permanently-on Samsung tablet, has to be manually refreshed to restore live feed. 

    My friend is also still having similar frustrating problems with VM WiFi. Same modem model as mine. 

    At the moment there is no provider available in this area that can support the speed. 

    But this WiFi problem is a real pain.

    How often is it dropping out?

    How long is it dropping out for, minutes or hours?

    How long has this been happening for?

    Is it all devices or just the phone line?
