Exposed cable
I have exposed broadband cable installed which runs across the surface of the pavement. I am worried that I have builders arriving next week and the cable is unprotected.

If the pavement is on your property, I'm sure the builder (or yourself) could cut a channel for the cable and cement over it? From the photo it looks like the first part was done in this fashion, so it only needs finished in the same manner. This may be more expedient than waiting for VM to do this.
