Every house on my street can get Virgin except mine HELP

I am desperate to switch to Virgin Broadband when my current contract with Sky is up next month. Upon putting in my postcode, every single house on my street, except for mine, shows as available to get Virgin. I have filled in the form for Virgin to contact me three times over as many months and nobody ever contacts me. Today I spoke to a customer service person on webchat. First they told me I couldn't get Virgin in my area. I told them every single house in my street could get it, my terraced neighbour has it, it's just my address. I live in a normal town, not in the middle of nowhere. They then told me that I needed an engineer to fit a cable. I asked how to get this down and they told me to fill in the form I've filled in multiple times already, groundhog day anyone? Upon telling them I've already completed it multiple times they said they would chase it. I've still not heard from anybody and I doubt anything has been chased. It seems all I need is an engineer to run a cable to my house and I'm good to go but the customer service is so appalling I'm just going around in circles and being fobbed off. How did others in this situation actually get anything resolved?
