Equipment sent when not a customer

I recently stopped being a customer as I moved house and switched to TalkTalk. Ceased services OK. A few days into my new home I received equipment from VMO2 to set up a new account (router, TV box etc). It was sent to my new address but the name was someone else. Is this a a weird coincidental combination of a neighbour ordering a new service and making a mistake with the house number just when we are moving in, or is it a scam? I'm not sure if there's a love connection at the house. And what should I do with the equipment?
