Consolidate TV and broadband connections

Hi,

I have two external cables from virgin media coming into my house.  One for broadband which goes to an upstairs room, and connects to the WIFI modem.

The other one is for TV, and enters the house on the ground floor.

I wanted to consolidate this just using the ground floor connection for both TV and WiFi.

Is it as simple as just moving the WiFi Modem downstairs and connecting the white coax cable to the inner wall mounted box (which the TV is currently connected to) ? Or will the move require and engineer visit ?

thanks

I think you will need a splitter if there aren't two outputs already there.  That will require a Tech visit and a £25 charge to recable, supply splitter and rebalance the power levels.

Just call it in on 150 (VM Phone - free) or 0345 454 1111 (any other phone - national rate). and request it
