Cables Cut

Hi, When we moved in the engineer clearly took the lazy option and didn’t properly bury the cables. Workies have since cut the cables and we have no service. Spoke to customer services on Wednesday who had arranged an engineer to come tomorrow but when I checked today this had been cancelled without reason or notice. Being past pillar to post and now being told to call back on Monday. very frustrating especially as mainly WFH and racking up the bills hot spotting on the mobile. Is there a UK number I can contact to get this escalated? many thanks
