wait for staff to get here they will ask for details and pass the request up the chain - thats about all they can do they will tell you if you do get the cables removed you will have problems getting VM in the future - but most in their right mind would not join this shower
from there expect very little to happen - the area manager will likely ignore any request hoping you get fed up of asking and go away
you can ring and as you are not a customer hit a brick wall in speaking to someone - if you do get through no one will help
or you can ignore all that and take the quick and painless route and get on with life - find a pair of wire cutters - remove all wiring and put it in the bin - no voltage so no danger - job done

It sounds like Mocha1701 is dealing with an exposed Virgin Media cable in their front garden, which is preventing them from cutting the grass. Since they are not a customer, it might be challenging to get a quick resolution.
In situations like this, it's best to contact Virgin Media directly and report the issue.

i fully understand what has been said by the OP hence my reply - you know and i know that contacting VM directly is all but a waste of time - i doubt offshore scripts cover difficult grass cutting thats assuming he can get through to them as a non customer with no account number

Thank you I did try to contact them but it has been difficult as we don't know who the line belongs to. And no account number.

Hello Mocha1701.
Thanks for your first post and welcome to our community.
Sorry to hear about the cable being above ground.
What we can do here is arrange for a visit to get this buried.
We would need to send you a private message to take the address though.
If you can check the envelope at the top right of your screen that would be great.
