Account already registered at address

Hi Virgin media, whilts waiting for my QuickStart self-install pack to be delivered I received an email 5 days ago stating that there is already a Virgin media account registered at my address in someone else's name so my order can't be dealt with yet. I have not heard anything since so was wondering what I should do about this.

  • Hi,

    I registered and installed a quick-start self install broadband box which I got yesterday but when I tried to activate the broadband on my virgin media app I was unable to do so because of another account already being registered at my address. When I called up I didn’t really get an explanation as to how this can be solved as I got told I will not be billed but I could be charged a couple of months prior. I need this account being taken off as they do not live here and I have contacted the landlord and they have stated they will not be returning. I find this is really unfair on me as i will be billed more because of someone not having their account removed. Please would I be able to be contacted about this as this needs to be sorted out asap. Thank you in advance.

    You won't be billed until your own service is activated.
