Virgin App A welcome Gift worth £84.99

Hello, I had my usual VM email newsletter. There was as  s section in saying the above:

Download the Virgin App A welcome Gift worth £84.99. Any one no what is this gift. I never use the VM or O2 app. Can anybody tell me what the gift is before I bother to download an App?

Thank you.

We wouldn't delete posts for customers and urge that it's probably best to keep this online as it can serve to assist other readers with this query.

      Thanks for your time,

  • It’s our way of saying

Your Virgin Media broadband experience gets even better when you become a Priority member. To get you started we’re giving you a welcome gift, on us.

It’s easy to join - simply download the Priority app at no extra cost. You’ll get a free welcome gift, worth up to £84.99.

Plus, enjoy more exclusive rewards and experiences across the UK. There’s something new every single week, only on Priority.

Hi Sjames18, I've been able to do a little bit of digging on this, and it would appear that this incentive is to celebrate the launch of Priority’s Welcome Gift campaign - which offers all new Priority members a free 12-month digital magazine subscription (worth up to £84.99).

To gain this, it would then be simply a case of downloading and signing up to the app.

      Thanks,

Thanks for coming back to us Sjames18,

This looks like an O2 incentive, as oppose to Virgin Media as the Priority application is related to O2 accounts.

Has this been raised with them at all?

      Thanks,

      David_Bn

  • Sorry david I tried to copy and paste but it wont let me . I will try again. Its a legit Virgin email.

  • Thanks for reaching out to us Sjames18, and welcome back to our Community Forums.

Can you please provide us with a screenshot - omitting any personal details, of the offer?

Any offerings of gifts or incentives would usually be included in welcoming offers only, and not for existing connections or for simply downloading our application.

    Thanks,

    David_Bn
