Waiting on a cheque for nearly 3 months

Where do I start I signed up to virgin in April this year and it took 5 months to get connected late Aug virgin kept in contact to the day i got sorted the person on the phone told me I was getting compensation and I could ask for a cheque to send to my back I said yes. 

I was told it would take 14 days waited nothing turned up rang up they told nothing  was coming so the re sent again 2 weeks later nothing so rang again they told me it was conflicting with pay monthly paymeant so they took a future 2 months paymeant out and said they they would send another cheque 2 weeks later nothing. So I ring again this time we can sent it straight your bank no need for a cheque it will take 1 to 3 days still nothing. Last Friday I asked for a manager they were meant to ring me with 24 hours got nothing. On Monday a rude manager rang me was not listening to me at all in anything i was saying and said a cheque will be on its way with 14 days. 

The way this company with dealing with me is an utter disgrace from day one getting connected to get this cheque ringing over the phone is a mess you have to tell them your leaving to get threw to someone. 

Am getting no emails no updates nothing I have to ring up every 14 days to a different person going threw the same thing over and over again and it’s really started to get to me now am just tired trying to deal with this simple thing. I just need help or advice on how to get this money or cheque in to my account. Am hoping an admin or anyone from the virgin team can help me.

  • Am aback again still nothing sorted been waiting 7 days for a response on what going on as they asked me if I wanted a bank transfer I have DM the person that DM over the last 9 days from Friday and today and heard nothing back. It’s been over 3 months now!! And nothing is sorted!!

  • Just want to give a heads up on just how much of a joke this company is and there service.

    I got offered a cheque of a fair amount i wont say how much on the 3rd sept and on the 9th (yesterday) i finally got the cheque. This was for a 5 month delay of connecting me to there service.

    I got offered a cheque 5 times everytime never happened (cheques take up to  14 days to come)
    I got offered straight to my bank account 3 times never happened.( 3 days to your bank and getting told 10 days)

    I was in contact with 3 managers all offering me bank transfers 2 and one cheque guess what nothing came and that managers 100% on its way. You get no emails nothing that its on its way you have to wait or just keep ringing to find out its on its way. The telephone system is the Awful the AI never understands what you say and goes threw the same things over and over you have to tell them you want to leave to get threw to a real person.

    I asked for help on here i was in Dm's with an admin that was saying for over a week am still waiting to here from the team about my issue then i was getting NO response.

    I managed to get threw to the complaints team and spoke to a manager there 4th one that seen how long i have been waiting after again seen nothing was sent. He kept in touch with me and even rang me when the cheque was sent 7 days later it came. So thank you to that manger that delt with this issue for me.

    So for connection has been amazing cant fault it but man worse company i have ever delt with. Am just glad i don't need to ring them up again 8 months of dealing with calls just to get connected and get a cheque.
