VM and O2 link account issues

I am NOT a new user (I've been with Virgin (and lately 02) for over 20 years)!

All of a sudden, when I try and access my email, I am being given a different email address (and it's one I already have).  What's happened to my original email address for Virgin email?

Then I had to set up a new password, which I did, but now that isn't recognised!

I appreciate this is (probably) only being done for extra security, but honestly, it's worse than Fort Knox!

Rant over, but I sincerely hope these problems are addressed.

    We're sorry to hear about the issues you're having signing in.

    Just to clarify, have you now created your Virgin Media O2 ID?

    If you use an email client, you need to use your Virgin Media Mail email address as the username, and your separate Virgin Media Mail app password. You can manage your email app password by signing in to My Virgin Media with your Virgin Media O2 ID, heading to Account settings, and
then ID settings.
