Virgin trying it on with router charge

Virgin have sent me an email threatening to charge me for not sending my router back.

I’ve got a receipt and I’m ready for a fight.

But looking at the number of complaints on the forum it seems like Virgin just try a few charges and see how many people will just pay up.

My advice to anyone thinking of leaving Virgin:

  1. Stay strong. Your nightmare will eventually end and you’ll be Virgin free.
  2. Keep the receipts from equipment return, even after you had emails saying that items have been returned.
  3. Don’t bother with the outsource drones on WhatsApp - complain publicly on the forum.

It's quite normal for VM to send out emails around returns.  I've had these in the past, but never had to pay any money, as the kit has been returned.  Perhaps a better solution would be for VM to delay the sending of such emails for a month or so?  It seems to be the way VM register returns "en masse" rather than every return, hence the delay between receiving and registering on the system.

  • Hey David731, thank you for reaching out and we are sorry to hear about your returns issues.

When did you return this, it can take the warehouse up to 21 working days not including bank holidays to process this return?

If you have the receipt, this is great when was it marked down as returned?
