Sorry to hear of your billing concerns. The amount charged on a direct debit would be the bill amount for that month. If this is different then normal, it's usually because there has been an out-of-contract purchase, or a change to your package. Checking the systems on our side, you've since been in touch regarding this, and it looks to be resolved.
