Virgin Media o2 ID - advice please

Hi,

I have today received by email an invitation to link my "My Virgin Media" and "My o2" accounts.  This apparently enables a single sign-on for both the VM and O2 accounts.

The SIM that was migrated to O2 is in fact my partners phone.  Hence she uses her own credentials to login in to "My O2".

Therefore, in this case it makes no sense to have a single sign-on.  So I will be ignoring the invitation.

Is this the right approach?  Do I have to have a single sign-on?

Any advice gratefully received.

    Thanks for your post. That's absolutely fine - you're not obligated to merge the accounts so you can access them all in one place. We added this as a convenience feature.
