Virgin 360 upgrade.

Hi, I've registered for the 360 upgrade, as my Tivo box is mega old.  I've been sent a new remote, does anyone know whether I will receive a new box, or do I need to upgrade the software on the old Tivo?  As usual, very little information from Virgin to go on...

    If it is the very old TiVo you need a new 360 box.  If it’s a V6 TiVo you will just get a software upgrade.  Note the newer boxes don’t have a SCART socket.

    If you've only received a remote then you will have the V6 box (the one on the left of the picture) and this receives an over the air update. There will either be a pamphlet inside the remote control box explaining the upgrade process, or the details will be printed on the inside lid of the box.

    If you have the older tivo box (the one on the right) then you need to contact VM and ask them to send out the correct box.  You do need to have a broadband connection with VM as well in order to use the box. If you don't then you will need a tech visit.
