Very high estimate bill

Hi,

I have signed up to the 1 gig service for £45.00 for the next 18 months and was installed on the 5th Jan 2024. The Field Sales person who signed me up wavered the TV stream fee. Now I know its an estimate but I have a bill £124.99.. Under the ccontrat it now says under other items £34.99 for the stream activation fee discount and stream activation fee. Even tthe monthly charge (£45.00) and the £34.99 still doesn't account for £124.99.

When I look on 'View Bill' it reports that I don't have a bill yet and come back on the 6th Feb 2024.

If I have to pay that £34.99 can I cancel the streaming service as I am still within the 14 days?

Any support would be greatly appreciated.

    Hey Stiltonpie,

    Welome to the Community Forums and thanks for the post.

    Sorry to hear you have been having this issue, with your bills as this is a new package, we always bill in advance so yur first bill will be double, this means that the first bill will be 2 lots of the £45.

    In the other credits and charges section, can you confirm if there is both a charge of £34.99 and a credit? The credit will be denoted by a CR next to the amount?

  • Hello, thank you for your quick response. There is no credit but the estimate has dropped down to £89.99 which would be the double bill.

      Hey Stiltonpie,

      Great to hear this, until the bill produces the amount could vary, best case is to await the the bill producing then check upon this via your MYVM account, this will then clearly state what you are being charged for.
