Urgent: Suspected Fraudulent O2 ID Creation
Dear O2 Customer Service,
I am writing to report a suspected fraudulent activity involving my personal information. On 12 September, I received a suspicious phone call from someone claiming to be from O2. After the call, I discovered that a Virgin Media O2 ID was created under my email address without my authorisation. (Team member please DM me for the email address)
I am concerned that my account may have been compromised or used for fraudulent purposes.
Could you please:
- Check whether there has been any unusual activity on any O2 or Virgin Media O2 accounts associated with my email address.
- Cancel or delete the Virgin Media O2 ID that was created without my consent.
Please confirm once the ID has been cancelled and advise if there are any additional steps I should take to secure my personal information.
