Fraudulent account has been set up in my name

Hi

I can see a virgin media account that has been setup in my name and defaulted payment.


This is currently showing on my credit file and I need help removing it and fixing this issue.


I have been on the phone all morning trying to get customer services to help. I did get though to someone who kept asking for the same details but didnt give me much confidence in this even being reported.
Can someone please contact me regarding this.

        Hi did you get this resolved as I am having the exact same problem and virgin unwilling to help?!

  • Please why is this happening to everyone? I just recently went through my credit report and I saw a missed/defaulted payment of £65 on a closed account with Virgin Media. I don't have any account with Virgin Media. How did that happen? Please help!

      You mentioned you don't have an account with us, have you ever had service with us in the past? It may have been at a previous address.
